I've been listening to a ton of Eminem ever since I watched 8 Mile with Douglas. Do not know why.
It's completely out of my "usual" listening preferences, but I totally love "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore right now. I keep waiting to get sick of it, but it grows on me more and more every time I hear it.
^ That song went from something I listened to because I thought it was funny to it being catchy.
Surrender the Night -MCR (I don't know what it is about it...)
That's exactly what happened to me. The first few times I heard it I just thought it was funny. And then the more I heard it, I started to enjoy it.
ET - Katy Perry
Clown Show by Edna Swap. It's an ancient song, (it's from 1997,) but every once in a while I get the urge to listen to it, and then it's all I can listen to for weeks. And then I forget about it again. It's a f**king fantastic song, though.
Instant Crush by Daft Punk feat. Julian Casablancas
Just Like Tropica-L by Soft Powers
Thought I would check it out.
^There are just no words for how much I love that song. Saw them in Seattle around when this song came out, they were fantastic. Bummed they didn't stay together
New Slaves - Kanye West
I've been playing the poop out of all my old, daggy music to try and bring myself out of a bit of a slump. Can the Can by Suzi Quatro is on heavy rotation right now, much to the annoyance of my husband and kids.
I'm stuck on Desert Song again. But it fits really well with the mood of my writing I've been working on.
Lanterns by Birds of Tokyo
Pretty hooked on an old PS Vita advert's song, Passion Pit - Take A Walk.
How Can You Mend A Broken Heart - Al Green
