Default Jodi Picoult

I love her books, I think she's an amazing author. I've read my sisters keeper, the pact, salem falls, vanishing acts, keeping faith, the tenth circle and nineteen minutes and at the moment i'm reading plain truth. Anyone else a fan?

I LOVE her books.

I began to read My Sisters Keeper when I was about eight. Then my Mum took it away from me because I'm not allowed to read her books.

Then last year I borrowed it off my sister. Completely hooked. I started reading The Tenth Circle, but my Mum took it away from me, AGAIN.

^Can't believe your mom took it away from you. It's not bad. It actually has a really good message, I think.

I've read The Tenth Circle and Nineteen Minutes. I'm actually doing a 4,000 word essay on those two books for school.

I have started The Pact, but haven't gotten my teeth into it yet. Planning on reading it over Christmas, when I have the time.

If you read Ninteen Minutes, you should definitely read Perfect Match. That actually came before Nineteen Minutes, but it's got Patrick in it and it kinda explains his past

I'm posting some spoilers, so heads up.

I'd like them a lot more if, in every book before Nine Minutes, the characters didn't always win their case. Her characters and plots are great, but I hate reading a book when I already know the ending.

Vanishing Acts and The Tenth Circle had terrible endings anyway. Vanishing Acts went something like this:

Fitz: Hey, Eric. I know you're engaged to Delia and all, but I'm secretly in love with her, so I'm going to steal her and marry her myself.
Eric: That's fine. I kow you'll take good care of her.

And The Tenth Circle...ugh. The poor characters go through all that only to discover that oops, little miss Trixie was lying and Jason didn't rape her after all. Bitch.

I've read all her books now lol. Vanishind Acts is my least favourite book of hers, and the only book i've only read once. I think you should all read 'a change of heart'. Its amazing, and brings in some really interesting side topics alongside the main plot. I love it!

Thanks for the suggestion! I was planning on reading Change Of Heart anyways, but now I definitely want to!

Where do you think Mercy ranks amongst her books? I'm trying to get into it, but I just can't :|

i've read all of her books at least twice. she's amazing. i think nineteen minutes was my favorite, or the pact ... they're all so good. the way she depicts courtroom scenes is amazing and so suspenseful. i think either vanishing acts or harvesting the heart were my least favorite.
