Maybe Bass? They're both good in different ways. I'm starting guitar since I have one, but whatever is an option I say go for it.

Well..Guitar, in my opinion is harder to learn, but has more cool solos and riffs, and etc.
Bass is also really cool, it helps the band stay in time, it gets some pretty cool solos every now and then. Besides, a lot of people who play bass are pretty awesome =D

Guitar...basses are heavy
Or maybe I'm just very weak =/
But yeah, guitars good, but someone told me playing bass is easier but i dunno i've never played bass
