I just watched 'Requiem For a Dream' a few days ago. It's really good, very disturbing, but I think 'An American Crime' is more disturbing. It has Ellen Page from Juno in it. The scariest part about the movie is that it's a true story.

an american crime is really disturbing.
Its based on Sylvia Liken's murder. i just watched a couple scenes from it on youtube, and i all ready knew most of the story on syliva's death. The most disturbing movies i find are realisitic.

very true. i just watched the trailer and a scene from it. that was extremely disturbing
the film better do the true story justice.

The Audition.
i personally don't think it's very disturbing, but I watched it with my husband, 2 of my girlfriends, and their boys. all 3 of the boys had to go outside and have a cigarette, and refused to watch the rest, about half way though the movie. we girls laughed at them, and watched the rest. boys are pansies. (the only reason i wanted to see the movie in the first place was because of the video for "Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us")

^I agree, Requiem For A Dream, most disturbing movie for me :[
But it still is one of my favourite movies, I love it.
