right, have you ever heard something seriously stupid said about MCR, not the big things like when the daily mail called them a "cult of suicide" but little things from like the people around you.
anything offensive, rude or just dim...

for example.
my mom, whilst the teenagers video was on said "ha, johnathn ross was right when he called him fat wasn't he" she said talking about Gerard.
i asked her what she meant and she said "well he doesn't excactly have the figure of a rockstar does he, he is quite podgy"
, i was so shocked when she said that.

and my Nana said when the i dont love you video was on tv.
we were talking about the band and i said 'he doesn't look bad for 30, you've gotta agree' and she said
"well, yeah but have you seen the state of his teeth. have you seen all the fillings. i know i cant talk but i dont go opening my mouth that wide do i?"
i was not happy with her.

Well I can't really think of anything at the moment.
Except I had a friend who said Gerard's voice was "whiney" and I was like "wtf...he is not whiney..."

And then my g-ma saw them perform Cancer on SNL and said Gerard looked up towards the ceiling too much...lmao. That made me laugh though, cause he sorta does.

I don't know if it was a compliment or just a joke but my mom said that gerard sounded like a little british kid. *referring to his voice* and i started to laugh. and i asked how old do you think he is? and she said 30. I haven't even told her his age and she knew that. But, I took it as a compliment that he sounded young. My mom and I were talking about tatoos and she said never to get one and I said I don't want one and she was saying don't be like all these rock stars with the tatoos and piercings. I said well Gerard From MCR doesn't have any of that because he doesn't like needles. She said well then he's smart.
But she does say alot (mostly referring to MCR and GD) Don't be like all these rock stars Shannon. You don't need to wear gloves like those rockstars your not a rockstar shannon.
She's said alot of crap about them but I forget most of them.

OH...that reminds me...

My parents were watching tv today and they just turned it to this music channel and it said Gerard someone on the screen...it wasn't Gerard Way...
But anyways...so I was in the kitchen and my mom says really loud "Oh, Gerard, that name sucks! What a stupid name."
She was just playing around cause she knows it gets on my nerves when she makes fun of them but I was like grrrrr.

lol my grandpa and grandma was watching the new seprenos commercial for the new season and mama was playing and my grandpa new i was listening in and so he said, "god where do they find this awful music". i was so mad lol.

I was watching TRL and Michael Chiklis and Jessica Alba was on. Teenagers played and after Damian asked them what thye thought of MCR. Jessica said, "I saw that play at anaward show and they were pretty awesome, then Michaek Chiklis said, "Isn't My Chemical Romance British??" I thought that was hilarious and my mom even thought it was funny!!

a few people at my school say bad things about em but it doesnt get to me..... my parents are fine with me listenin to mcr.... my mum even thinks gerard is...( in her own words) 'pretty damn good looking' (seriously) i was like.... okay....
