what is emo? site against my chem
this one kinda irked me. on Kerrang today there was an article posted
http://www2.kerrang.com/2008/06/pare...ainst_emo.html and it was about this new site called What is Emo. http://whatisemo.bravehost.com/index.html and on the main page w/ a little video about emo. it basically stars my chemical romance. they appear the most in it. and if you go to the lyrics page. of course my chem is first. 3 of their songs are featured which the arthur thinks glorifies suicide. surprise surprise. thought some of you would like to know EDIT: oh and of course it has the whole hannah bond incident on there

Seriously, the world population is like feuding teenagers. Just let it go. They're not going to change our opinions, and we wont change theirs, so why bother? You don't see people with bellbodoms and peace signs smoking pot running around anymroe so often as you did in the 70's right? It will all pass eventually. But first the subject just needs to be dropped by everybody. The mental cutting kids need help pronto, because half of it their just mental, and the other half complete and utter pathetics. My parents both like MCR to some extent, they've heard the music and know it's positive, plus they have some intellence to know that media is fucked up. But the other parents that actually listen to what the news tells them, and donlt make their own opinions really are being led in the wrong direction with all this.

I'm pretty fed up about all this. Ignorant people showing off their ignorance. I'm emo, okay, what's their problem? My parents know it and know what emo is, and know enough to realize this is stupid. I agree. People like that best be ignored. What worries me is what will happen when people start receiving the wrong message about emo kids. Look at the riots in mexico. I didn't read it all and normally I don't care about the whole 'anti-emo' thing, but this website is so ludicrously stupid and that guy takes it all SO seriously, that it surpasses funny and is just unbelievable.
