I didn't read all of it, but the website didn't really bother me. Yeah, they're exaggerating and getting the facts wrong and all of that, but it seems to come from more of a concerned parent perspective than anything. Some kids that listen to emo music are cutting themselves and do need help. I think it's more that people with issues (among people who are perfectly fine) are sometimes attracted to darker music than that the music causes all these issues. But all the same, if this ridiculous website helps parents who have a kid like Hannah Bond in the weeks before her death recognize that their kid is self-harming and it's serious, then I'm all for it. I just hope the parents will have more sense than to try to solve the problem by removing their child from all things emo.

I posted a comment on that forum, just some quotes from My Chem and a few youtube links, and said basically if you have the time, please look or whatever. And like is this what you call encouraging self harm? And stuff like ''oh, look at this video [youtube link of Gerard talking about depression, obviously saying suicide isn't the answer and things of that sort] look it's the lead singer! Look, he's telling us to go hang ourselves and slit our wrists. He supports it. You were right. Anyone listening to this is suicidal and needs help. oh, sarcasm if you didn't catch it''

Maybe he really has just gone mental from dealing with mental people then. Or maybe he's lying about having a degree- who knows.
