You have some real talent, but not much originality. I enjoy your poetry, but I'd enjoy it a lot more if you eased up on the cliches. Crying, "crimson water", emptiness, depression, self-harm, heartbreak, ecetera have all been used and overused. I'm not saying that all dark poetry is bad or that every poem you write should be happy, but you really need to work hard to avoid being trite (especially with all the whiny emo kids writing poetry nowadays). Perhaps you could focus on the deeper psychological aspects of depression instead of cutting and crying, or something like that. If you keep looking at things from a different angle, I know you'll come up with some really great poetry. :3

Arrow

a new one

You’ve polished another glass,
Surrendered another fight,
Your orbs slicked with intoxication,
You sit alone tonight,
Hidden in your defeat,
Something I trusted you’d never meet,

You’ve given up,
This is what my hero, you, has taught to me,
Your escape,
My roots,
Your poison,
My repellant,

Your own trap set,
But one day I will be free,
And I’ll never look back,
Your face I don’t want to see.
