Love and Coffee

She lay cold and asleep on his bed, her legs and arms out of the covers. Frank entered the room. He looked at his girlfriend, peacefully asleep. He walked over to the side of the bed and flipped over the matress.

"Wakey wakey my love." Frank said with a smirk.

"Frank!" Cindy yelled out.
"Its ten in the morning!" she said getting up from the tan carpeted floor where she lay and looking at the clock on the bed-side table.

"Yes I know, but I couldn't wait another minute to kiss you." Frank leaned foward and rested his lips on hers. He pulled back slowly.

"You woke me up for that?" she kidded and kissed Frank again.
"Breakfast?" she asked.

"Coffee." he answerd

"Coffee and...?"

"Coffee, and coffee" he smiled.

"My goodness Frank do you live on coffee." Cindy emptied the contents of the coffee pot into a cup and took a sip.

"Of course not." Frank retorted. "Its just right up there next to oxygen"

"Ha ha." she walked over to Frank and sat on the couch next to him.
He looked into her chocolate brown eyes, and tucked a strand of her matching hair behind her ears.

"I love you Cindy." he stated,

"I love you too." she answerd.

"Good." he stated. He bent down on one knee.
"Will you mary me Cindy?" Frank pulled out a gold band with one single sparkling dimond in the center.

"Yes Frank." a tear formed in Cindy's eyes. She jumped up and hugged him.
"Yes." she murmerd and gave him a kiss.

Gerards woke up screaming, another nightmare, of course. He wondered if it had anything to with the pills he had been taking. He rolled out of his bed and looked in the mirror, he looked the same, bags under his eyes, and skin paler than usual, black greasy hair that was in need of a major cut. He closed his eyes. That did nothing. Gerard marched over to his bed-side table and picked up the phone. Trying to remember his number he dialed Frank. No answer. Shit. The clock read 4:00 in the morning. Fuck. Gerard fell to kis knees. He thought about death. He thought about the gun in the basement. The shit he could do. Yes. He got up. Walked to the basement, his hands sticking to the bannister as he walked downstairs. He picked up the gun, cocked it to his head, and pulled the trigger.

I couldn't feel my face, maybe it was just a dream, but if it was a dream why wasn't Bob here? He'd been on tour, in Europe, he promised he would call, and Bob was always a man of his words, but I hadn't heard from him in two months. Maybe his phone wasn't working, or maybe he was tied up, I knew how it was on tour, sleep, wake up, play, eat, sleep - the whole day, but why hadn't he called? Had somthing happend? I got out of bed and went to the bathroom, my face was drenched in sweat and my hair was a mess, I quickly combed it with my hands, it didn't help. The clock read 4:00 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon in France, or London, or Milan, I didn't know where he was, which made me even more concerned. I pulled on a pair of slippers and walked downstairs. Maybe a glass of hot tea would help calm me down. It didn't. A chill came by as I headed back upstairs. I opened the door as I started to get into bed somthing or rather someone grabbed me from behind. I screamed.

"Shh, be quiet, Im not gonna hurt you baby."
I turned around just to see a 6 foot tall love, my blue- eyed prince, Bob.
I kissed him.

"How did you get in?"

"I have a key."

"You're back early."

"Yeah."

"You didn't call." I crossed my arms.

"Um...."

"Do you even care at all Bob, did you even think of me?" I said almost yelling at him.

He kissed my head. "Every second."

She was miles away from me, allthough she was waiting in line at the cafe. We were flying out to Eurpoe to go on tour, and she agreed to go even though she was petrified of planes. She came back with our coffee and two bagles.

"Here you go." she handed me a venti java chip frappachino, while she sat next to me and sipped her small decaf coffee. I compared the two and laughed.

"What's so funny?" she kidded knowing exactly what I was laughing about, as if she could read my mind, that was one of the many reasons I loved Monique. I gazed into her dark eyes and she stared back at mine, she leaned in and gave me a kiss, not a rough one, a nice soft one, but she pulled away before i wanted her to.

"Miami to London." the speakerphone blared. It was our flight. We got up, I took her bag and her hand. She was shaking.

"Monique, come one babe everything's gonna be fine." I reassured her.

"Ok." she replied, she still had a terrafied look in her eyes as we found our seats and sat down.

"The plane will be taking off shortly please fasten your seat belts."

"Gee, Im getting of the plane."

"No, come one baby everything'll be fine, you can hold my hand, and i promise everything is gonna be ok, once that 'No Smoking' sign dings you'll know everything's gonna be ok."

"Allright." I gave her a kiss. The plane took off.

"Any second now, any second now, everything's gonna be ok. You'll be fine, Im not gonna let anything happen to you I promise."

"Gerard, its not lighting up." she paniced.

"Everything's gonna be ok, I promise." I gave her another kiss. "I promise, everything is gonna be-"
