I know it can be hard to think up different adjectives, but sometimes- if you'll pardon the cliche- you have to be "cruel to be kind". By pointing out the repetition now, she won't make that error again, and she'll be a better writer for it. If you were chef who always put salt instead of sugar in her brownies, wouldn't you want someone to tell you what you were doing wrong before your customers got angry?
